LOCATION

Jeff Jones Town Square. Officially opened in 2005, the Town Square serves as a central gathering place for the greater Sandpoint Community. The square is dedicated in the memory of Jeff Jones, former Sandpoint City Attorney.

THE FUTURE OF JEFF JONES TOWN SQUARE

In addition to the world’s first Solar Roadway’s installation, the future is bright for Jeff Jones Town Square. Plans include a free public WiFi zone supported by Sandpoint’s new fiber optic backbone, the continuation of a running live stream camera of the Solar Roadways display and future updates, and other amenities such as electrical vehicle (EV) charging stations.

The Town Square will continue as a public gathering place but also reflect the innovation and commitment to sustainable practices and protection of the environment – values which the community of Sandpoint is well known for.
